Main Aim:
Main Aim of the project is to reduce the institutionalizing of convicted juvenile offenders.
Objectives:
Project is directed to sentenced by the Regional Court-Pazardzhik juvenile offenders; representatives of local institutions and non-governmental organizations. Project results users will be : the authorities for reaction against juvenile delinquency : Local Commissions Against Anti-social behaviour of juveniles, Children` s Pedagogic Rooms ; future probation services in the country; legal entities of non-commercial activity, registered at the Agency for social support for providing social services.
Results achieved:
Developed and signed an Agreement on Interdepartmental Collaboration; Signed Technical Protocol; Created Regulations for work of probation council; Adapted model for Probation supervision and Active Social-Employment Mediation for Work with juvenile Offenders; Developed 15 types of documents; 20 persons trained in model work; 54 juvenile offenders included in probation supervision programs; Adapted and implemented program version for professional orientating in work with juveniles; Trainees to consult on choosing a profession; Adapted instruments for determining the educational level; 15 trainees in applying the instruments; tested 50 juveniles; 42 juvenile offenders has been delivered educational services; Developed and implemented a pilot program for the families of juvenile offenders; 56 persons- juvenile offenders and members of their families have passed the program” I and we”; 1 meeting held “Holiday with Presents”-30 children and 26 members of their families; Organized Project Closing Conference; Printed three folders; “Report on Services Status, Delivered to Juvenile Offenders”; “Probation Supervision Program for Juvenile Offenders”; 6 articles in the local press; 4 pieces of reporting on the cable televisions; Internet publications;
