Main Aim:
Project aims at working out a model for active social employment mediation based on the experience and work in the Center for integration of crime manifested and risk groups in Pazardzhik. Main issue of the project is introducing a program for work on social-employment mediators, who discover, advise, direct and assist clients offenders before release and afterwards. Mediators` activity will be supported by a Consulting group- specialists, whose role is to consult and supervise the process. Second stage of the projects are training programs in basic skills and starting an employment through out the mediation between client and employer. Project will be supported by different informational and promotion activities. Model standing will be reached by activity license according to the effective legislation.
Results Achieved:
Trained 6 active social-employment mediators for work with ex-prisoners; totally covered 305 clients offenders, from them 106 ex-prisoners, trained 77 clients; temporary employment for 15 ex-prisoners and permanent employment for 5 ex-prisoners; two types of instruments developed for evaluation of educational level and professional qualification of offenders; developed 12 types of preferences for employers hiring ex-prisoners.
