Project “Consulting, directing, assisting” was presented at the Press Club of the Bulgarian News Agency. Its goal is to reduce the acts of domestic violence and the negative effect on victims and society and to protect victims of domestic violence through reintegration and recovery.

The project is funded by the Bulgarian Fund for Women. Its scope is Pazardzhik Region and it will continue until the end of June, 2018.

 Bureau for consulting, directing, and assisting has been functioning at the office of Fund IGA since the beginning of February. There experts from the organisation deliver an initial consultation to victims of domestic violence who have looked for help. When necessary, the victims are consulted by a psychologist and a lawyer.

 The project will end with a final conference for media, institutions, and organisations engaged in the topic. The results from the project and the overall activity of the organisation in the area of domestic violence will be presented and analysed.

Information brochure for popularising the activities of the project and the opportunities it presents to victims of domestic violence will be printed and distributed.
