Funding: The National Program "Prevention and control of HIV/AIDS, implemented by the Ministry of Health with financial support from the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
Tasks:
-Work among young people at risk, to increase knowledge for the taken health risk, denial or reduction of risk behavior and support positive behavior changes; individual counseling of individuals on safe sexual behavior, distribution of informational materials to promote sexual and reproductive health and HIV prevention, distribution of condoms; motivation to reduce risky behavior and support positive changes in behavior;
-Targeting young people at risk, over 16 years, of testing for HIV; motivation to reduce risky behavior;
-Maintenance of Municipal Club / Center for peer trainers, as well as providing information and material about safe sex practices in premises provided by the municipality or in the premises of the NGO;
-Organize media campaigns to reach young people at risk in the area; three times a year;
-Organize advocacy campaigns to ensure the young people’s access to suitable for young people systematical and contemporary health education and services, including HIV testing.
