AL PzProject “Alternative summer – 2”, implemented by Crime Prevention Fund – IGA, was consecutively presented in Pazardzhik (10:30am) and Plovdiv (10:30am) on 19 July.

Its main goal is to build civic engagement and conduct efficient prevention of the topical forms of addictions and increasing aggression among 120 youngsters from all target groups of the programme (from 15 to 29 years old), who live at the territory of Pazardzhik Region and Plovdiv Region. The aim is to improve their quality of life and the environment where they live.

AL PlThe project includes 4 discussion forums for testing the proposed activities; 2 trainings within 2 programmes for prevention of addictions and aggressive behavior for 120 children and youngsters in Pazardzhik and Plovdiv; and 2 outside trainings – “Team Jundola” and “Alternative summer” with 40 participants altogether. The first training will be conducted under the guidance of the actress Maya Bezhanska, and the second one – under the guidance of the experienced mountaineer and guide of extreme expeditions Genadi Matveev.

The project is funded by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the National programme for youth affairs under article 10a from the Law of gambling 2017. It will continue for 3 months.
