Brief summary:
Programme Code “Success” gives an opportunity to 200 youngsters at a disadvantage, at the age of 13-20 and from the whole country, to do training in English as an addition to the provided obligatory education in the country. The programme makes use of the platform of language teaching in order to help youngsters from remote and isolated communities to accumulate and enrich their knowledge about the world and the democratic values and culture, as well as form civic engagement through volunteering and civic activities.
The training in English under the programme Code “Success” includes:
-         traditional training,
-         online training,
-         mixed training.
Youngsters from Pazardzhik city – 75 young people from Iztok neighbourhood and 25 people from the populated areas in Pazardzhik region, will take part in the traditional training. There is a special focus on boys.
All participants will be grouped at two language levels – beginners’ level and elementary level. The training consists of 360 study hours through the period of January 2017 – December 2018. Each group will have one teacher and one teaching assistant.
Apart from the training in English, Code “Success” also consists of sessions for personal growth and social engagement as well as camps for the youngsters participating in the training.

Expected results:
The goal of the project is to encourage the democratic and economic development in the country by motivating youngsters at a disadvantage to continue their education at junior secondary school and secondary school. Through the platform of foreign language teaching the youngsters from remote and isolated communities will be helped to accumulate and enrich their knowledge about the world, the democratic values and culture, as well as form their civic self-awareness by means of volunteering and civic activities.
