Fund – IGA with a prestigious award
The official ceremony of the Yearly Prizes of the National Alliance of Social Responsibility - a representative of Bulgaria for EASPD, for a contribution in the social development in Bulgaria, took place on June 9th. The ceremony was held within the National Forum/Fair “Social Services, Employment, and Development”.
The winner in the category “Non-governmental Organizations” in 2016 was Crime Prevention Fund – IGA. Lyuk Zelderlo – general secretary of EASPD, awarded Dimitar Rusinov – chairperson of the Board of Managers of Fund – IGA. The award was bestowed on the organization for “full contribution in the social development in Bulgaria”.
The Forum gave a lot of opportunities for national and European partnerships, exchange of good practices, discussions and designing recommendations in European and national policies. For the first time and as a main focus of the programme the subject of employment of people with disorders at the open labour market was included as a new stage in the development of activities in this area in Bulgaria. The Forum showed the social services through exhibitions with the aim of presenting good practices, exchange of experience and development. There were also workshops for the role of art in the social services for development of labour skills and opportunities for social entrepreneurship.
