Project “Reducing prison population: advanced tools of justice in Europe”

Objective:
The main goal of the project is to research the experience and identify good and promising practices from all of the 7 participating countries into the existing alternatives to detention.
Main activities:
· At the first stage, a deep analysis will be made from the participating partners, which include developing a national report from each country with basic legal frameworks;
· Conduct in-depth interviews among practitioners in the institusions, legislative and others related in this topic, in order to identify best practices in alternatives to detention;
· Developing Training package: Alternatives to detention in europe: promising practices and tools;
· Training package issued in all of the participating counties and is accessible in the internet. Each one of the partners present the product in specially organized for this purpose seminar in their country.
· The official presenting of this Training package will be made on the final conference of this project in the European parliament.
