Award for Fund – IGA by Sofia municipality for “development of an effective model for inter-agency cooperation during the implementation of European projects in partnership with Sofia municipality” 2007.
Pleven and Plovdiv analyzed survey on the development of probation
Information Days for popularizing the report from the independent monitoring on the legislative and institutional development of probation were held in Pleven and Plovdiv. The aim of the event was to provide the results from the survey and the thorough interviews as well as the respective statistic information for probation gathered within the project. The first Information Day was held on 24th November in Pleven in the conference hall in hotel “Rostov” and the second one – on 1st December in hotel “Seven Hills” – Plovdiv. There were representatives from Regional Office “Execution of Punishments”, Regional Directorate “Social Assistance”, the Prisons in Pleven and Plovdiv, Directorate “Labour Bureau”, Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior, municipal administrations, non-governmental organizations, and media.
Experts from Fund IGA used multimedia presentations to show the survey itself, details on the work on specific cases and the hypotheses about them, the work with families, the opinion of the probation workers, etc.
The third Information Day will be held in Pazardzhik.
