Project “New Job Position in IGA” ended

A closing conference under Project “New Job Position in IGA” took place at the end of October in the conference hall of hotel “Hebar” – Pazardzhik.

The project has been implemented through the financial support of Operative Programme “Human Resources Development”, co-funded by the European Union through the European Social Fund, Free Financial Assistance Scheme: BG051PO001-1.1.13 „New Job Position”, Contract № ESF-113-06-08001. The project continued 18 months.

Twelve young people up to the age of 29 who had been registered as unemployed at Directorate “Labour Bureau” – Pazardzhik were given the chance to receive a professional qualification and skills in key competences such as: a training in the profession “Office Secretary”, subject “Administrative Service” and a key competence “Foreign Language Communication, topic “English language” for 6 representatives of the target group and a training in the profession “Social Activities Assistant”, subject “Social Work with Children and Families at Risk” and a key competence “Digital Competence” for 6 representatives of the target group.

After the successful completion of the trainings those young people worked in Fund – IGA for 10 months.

Representatives from institutions interested in the subject “employment and realization of young people” took part in the closing conference as well as the team which had implemented the project and the young people who had worked in Fund – IGA. They shared their impressions from their work, their content with what they had learned, and their desire to continue their work realization as soon as possible.
