Project “Capacity Building for the Future” ended with a conference

A closing conference under Project “Capacity Building for the Future” took place on 28^th August in the Conference hall of hotel “Hebar” – Pazardzhik.

The aim of the project is to improve the capacity of Crime Prevention Fund – IGA in the delivery of social services to vulnerable groups, in the further development of the services, as well as in the interaction with the partners. The project includes surveys, analyses, reports on development, mutual work meetings, and trainings of the teams which deliver the social services coordinated by the organization.

Representatives from the following institutions took part in the closing event: Regional Directorate “Social Assistance” and Directorate “Social Assistance” – Pazardzhik and Peshtera, District Police Office – Pazardzhik, Regional Office “Execution of Penalties”, Social Assistance Agency, Centres for Social Integration, Complex for Social Services for Children and Families, and non-governmental organizations managing services and other social institutions in Pazardzhik, Plovdiv, and Peshtera.

There were presented not only the specific results from the project but also a System of monitoring indicators and data with the aim of improving the contents of the social services delivered by Fund – IGA. There was also presented the pilot adoption of the system in the delegated social activities of the organization in Pazardzhik, Plovdiv, and Peshtera.

The project has been funded by Confederation Switzerland through the Reform Fund Linked to Civil Society Participation.
