Regional Fund - IGA, Pazardjik won an international award! Personally Her Royal Highness the Princess Royal presented the International Community Justice Awards!

R.sreshta 3 23.06.2015Final meeting of the Working group under Project “Social Inclusion of Offenders by Innovative Models of Social Enterprises” was held from 19th to 22nd June in Pazardzhik. Participants in the event were Clemens Russell and Filip Hoybeck from the partner organization “xit-GmbH”- Germany, a representative of the Agency for Social Assistance, experts who have been working under the project, and the team who has been coordinating its implimentation.

The main goal of the meeting was discussing the achieved results as well as future mutual projects on the subject. The project manager used a multimedia presentation showing in detail what had been achieved – activities, events, participants, goals, and tasks. The results from the training seminar of the applied specialists Rsreshta 3 23.06.2015were commented and analyzed as well as the business-plans they had created, and some technical questions related to the documentation and the assignments of all participants till the end of the project.

As part of the Working meeting the partners from Germany had the opportunity to visit two social enterprises in Pazardzhik managed by Association <<Egida>> and Association <<Philanthropy>>. The visits were particularly interesting to the experts from Germany who asked a lot of questions and shared their experience.

The project is going to finish with a Concluding conference in Plovdiv at the end of the month.

The project has been implemented by Crime Prevention Fund – IGA in partnership with “xit-GmbH” - Germany and Association “Training and Service Centre”. It has been funded by Operative Programme “Human Resources Development” and co-funded by the European Union through the European Social Fund, Free Financial Assistance Scheme: BG051PO001-7.0.07 “NO BOUNDARIES – COMPONENT 1 – Phase 2”, Contract № BG051PO001-7.0.07-0140.
