Vizita Germaniya (2)Training visit under Project “Social Inclusion of Offenders by Innovative Models of Social Enterprises” was held from 29th March to 4th April in Berlin, Germany. The visit aimed at getting introduced to the experience of the German social enterprises as well as testing and experimenting of specific models of innovative social enterprises for offenders in Bulgaria.
12 specialists in the social sphere took part in the visit. They are going to experiment with the models in Bulgaria in the next months in Plovdiv, Pazardzhik, Pleven, Shumen, Burgas, Isperih, and Panagyurishte.
The Bulgarian applied specialists met the German specialists Dr. Karl Birkhöfer – expert in socioeconomics and Peter Stadler – consultant in the sphere of work and corporative projects. All funding opportunities for the future social enterprises were examined in detail.
Vizita Germaniya (1)The applied specialists visited 4 social enterprises – a social enterprise for former drug addicts, USE – an enterprise with a confectionery department, a catering café-restaurant, a laundry, a social hotel, and a carpenter’s workshop; “Der Steg” – an enterprise for taking, dismantling, and recycling domestic technology; and a social enterprise built under the project “Kubus” aimed at the inclusion of emigrants in Berlin specially directed to the Roma people.
The visit finished with a working meeting in the office of the partner organization. The training visit presented one very good opportunity to the participants to get introduced to social enterprises close to their ideas. They received specific instructions on how to create their own project including the implementation of a social enterprise adapted to the Bulgarian conditions and corresponding to the Bulgarian normative orders.
