Working meetings discuss adopting German experience in the social enterprises
Two working meetings under project “Social Inclusion of Offenders by Innovative Models of Social Enterprises” took place in January and February. They were held in Chepelare and Troyan (one in South Bulgaria and one in North Bulgaria). Representatives of NGOs and municipalities developing social services for offenders or having active social enterprises took part in them.
Several things were presented – the experience of Germany, the Province of Brandenburg and Berlin, in the development of innovative models of the social enterprises for offenders, the results of the conducted Focus Groups in Kardzhali, Pleven, Shumen, Isperih, Burgas, and Blagoevgrad, the adapted models of social enterprises for offenders and the possibilities for their adoption in the Bulgarian practice. In the practical part of the meetings a model for a business plan of a social enterprise was looked at as well as the specific ways of establishing it. Different ideas were shared on this and a project of a social enterprise with a technical assignment for the applied specialists was also discussed. Both two working meetings ended with a thorough discussion which examined the results of the activities under the adoption of the most innovative and suitable for the Bulgarian conditions models.
