Short summary:
The main goal of the project is to encourage the inclusion of NGO in the processes of policy formation and decision making together with the institutions at regional and national level, which are related to the functioning of the probation system. The project also aims at making the non-governmental organizations more active in relation to the accountancy and transparency of the public institutions, in particular Directorate General “Execution of Punishments” with Ministry of Justice. It also aims at renewing an already existing model of monitoring on the probation system in the country.
The project is directed to the European dimensions in the development of the system of probation.
Activities:
Activity 1: Creating and functioning of a working group on the project;
Activity 2: Developing a common monitoring design;
Activity 3: Conducting a monitoring and preparing a report;
Activity 4: Informative days for popularizing the monitoring results;
Activity 5: Organizing and conducting a conference with international participation for popularizing the monitoring;
Activity 6: Information and project publicity.
