Information Days in Turnovo, Varna, Sofia, Lovech, and Sliven
After Pazardzhik, Information Days under Project “Social Inclusion of Offenders by Innovative Models of Social Enterprises” also took place in Turnovo, Varna, Sofia, Lovech, and Sliven. The aim of the Information Days was popularizing the German models of social enterprises and the 3 models of social enterprises for offenders adopted according to the conditions in Bulgaria.
There were more than 130 representatives of the regional structures of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy and the Social Assistance Agency, of Municipal and Regional administrations, municipal councilors, workers from Prisons and Regional Probation Offices, non-governmental organizations delivering social services, media, and others.
The topic of the information event arouse a huge interest among the participants and lead to lively and useful discussions everywhere.
At the 2 upcoming working meetings within the project 12 applied specialists from the target group will be finally identified. They will undergo a special training and after that they will experiment with the chosen models or elements of the models of social enterprises in their organizations.
