Informative day presents innovative models of social enterprises
Informative day under Project “Social Inclusion of Offenders by Innovative Models of Social Enterprises” was held on 15th October at 10:30 in the Press Club of BTA – Pazardzhik.
There were presented the results from surveying the experience in Germany, the Province of Brandenburg, in the development of innovative models of social enterprises for offenders, the conducted Focus Groups on this subject in Kardzhali, Pleven, Shumen, Isperih, Burgas, and Blagoevgrad and the adopted models of German social enterprises for offenders in line with the conditions in Bulgaria. Representatives of the regional structures of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy and the Social Assistance Agency, Municipal Administration – Pazardzhik, the Regional Office for Execution of Punishments, the Prison, non-governmental organizations delivering social services, etc. took part in it.
The activity is due to the difficulties in developing and functioning of the social enterprises in Bulgaria. Doing tests and experimenting with the models and their elements will help for defining the practices which work.
The Project had been funded by Operative Programme “Human Resources Development”, co-funded by the European Union through the European Social Fund, Free Financial Assistance Scheme: BG051PO001-7.0.07 “NO BOUNDARIES – COMPONENT 1 – Phase 2”, Contract № BG BG051PO001-7.0.07-0140.
