System of indicators for monitoring the social services of Crime Prevention Fund – IGA
Two-day training under Project “Capacity Building for the Future” was held at the end of last week in Dolna Banya. The project has been implemented by Fund – IGA and it aims at improving the capacity of the organization to deliver social services to children and youths from vulnerable groups. Representatives of all social centres managed by Fund – IGA in Pazardzhik, Plovdiv, and Peshtera took part, as well as representatives of the Components under the Health Programme of the Ministry of Health.
Results from the survey on the kinds and content of the usual information gathered in the process of social services delivery were presented within the training programme. Then there was presenting of the whole system of indicators and data for monitoring aimed at improving the services and the gathering of data, which are suitable for research goals. The training focused on presenting the philosophy and theory of the system of indicators so that the personnel could interpret the research work and the conclusions reached in their practice with individual cases.
The applying of the indicators was discussed separately for the Centres for Children and Monitored Care Unit – Plovdiv, CSRI for offenders, Crisis Centre – Peshtera, and the Components of the Health Programme of the Ministry of Health.
