40 drop-outs go back to school
A final event for presenting the results from Project “PORTAL – Assistance for professional realization” took place on 24th October at 02:00 p.m. in Vocational Secondary School of Clothing Design – Pazardzhik. All participants in the project attended the event – trainers, mentors, representatives from schools in Pazardzhik and the municipality, who have taken part in the trainings or who have cooperated for the successful implementation of the project, representatives from Pazardzhik Municipality and other institutions, students, and parents.
The project manager and the coordinator from Vocational Secondary School of Clothing Design presented the results and announced that the main indicator had been reached: 40 drop-outs had been reintegrated in different forms of education in Vocational Secondary School of Clothing Design – Pazardzhik.
The project has been implemented by Association “Training and Service Centre” in partnership with Vocational Secondary School of Clothing Design. Its main goal was to reintegrate secondary school drop-outs and students, who have not finished 8th grade, at the territory of Pazardzhik Municipality in different forms of education in Vocational Secondary School of Clothing Design.
The project has been funded by Operative Programme “Human Resources Development” and co-funded by the European Union through the European Social Fund, Scheme BG051PO001-4.1.06 “Reintegration of drop-outs in the educational system”, Contract №BG051PO001-4.1.06-0032.
