Fund IGA presented its own practice at a prestigious European forum
A big conference under the title “Crime prevention international day” took place in Brondby – Denmark at the end of March. The Danish commission for crime prevention and the European Union crime prevention network were the organizers of the event. More than 700 representatives from all EU member states took part in the prestigious forum.
Fund IGA received an invitation after the organization was distinguished with the Annual crime prevention international award in 2010 from the European Union crime prevention network (EUCPN). The award was given for the establishment of the first specialized Centre for social rehabilitation and integration of children from risk groups in Plovdiv.
A representative of Fund IGA made a presentation on the topic “Social rehabilitation of young offenders” which was accepted with a great interest by the audience as a practice which is implemented only with Bulgarian funding and at difficult conditions.
