Project “Pilot model for alternative services in support of the restructuring and reforming of institutions for children”
Period of implementation: 1.01.2007 г. - 30.04.2008
Partners: Association “Open door” – Pleven, Bulgarian Helsinki Committee, CCPJD, LCPJD – Pazardjik, Septemvri, Belovo and Pleven
Funding partner: PHARE Program of the European Commission
Main aimof the project is to decrease the institutionalizing of the juvenile delinquency, placed in the specialized children institutions – CBS and SPBS
Specific aims:
- Elaboration and practical implementation of the pilot project, supporting the processes of reforming and restructuring of institutions for juvenile delinquency.
Expected results:
- Developed methodology for implementation of the model;
- Trained team for testing and work with the model;
- Increased qualification of the specialized personal;
- Delivering the complex of social services for juveniles and families on the entrance, in the institution itself and on the exit;
- Delivering the specialized group programs for children and families on the entrance, in the institutions and on the exit;
- Elaborated network from experts, supporting the model;
- Vast popularization of the model.
