Project “Unity in the diversity and diversity in the unity”

Leading organization: Elementary school “Petko Rachov Slaveikov” - Peshtera
Period of implementation: 15.09 – 25.12.2007
Source of funding:
Ministry of education and science, National program “The school - territory of the students”, module “Development of the extracurricular activity”
Partners: Crime Prevention Fund - IGA
Main aim: Enriching the social experience of the students for establishment of mobile behavioral models and their transformation in active subjects of their own development.
Concrete outputs:
- Establishment of work shop “My today and my tomorrow depends on me” with 15 endangered from dropping out of school at the junior high stage students, who have to be trained in studying of their own visions for selection of profession and successful realization after finishing their primary education in the frames of 30 class hours
- 40 students to be trained (2 groups x 20 students) on the program “Prevention from addictions” and also to trace the indicators for their successful development
- Development of the creativeness of the students, their skills to create and establish, to form positive behavior towards their future and skills to structure their own worldly aims. Modules: “I get to know the world”; “Young journalist”; “Sport”. The activities in each module will be carried out in the frames of 30 class hours with students that have declared their interests and inclinations in the correspondent area.
Expected results:
- Children becoming active subjects of their own development. Early professional orientation, decreasing the number of the dropping out from school students. Supporting the process when communicating in the school community.
- Successfully carried out program “To prevent ourselves from the addictions and the violence” according to the indicators of the program, with 40 trained students.
- Created conditions for developing and statement of interests and abilities of 50 children, established culture in the organization and the self-organization of the leisure and the rest of the students.
