IGA presented Independent report concerning the condition of the probation

(20th of November) Independent report from monitoring of the legislative and the institutional introduction of the probation was presented today from 11 o’clock in “Serdika” hall of Grand hotel “Sofia”.
Half an hour earlier the report was presented especially for the media due to their big interest.
The event was implemented jointly with the Dutch Embassy in Sofia and also with the personal participation of the ambassador His Excellency Vilem van Ee. The Independent civil report is a result from research, implemented by Crime Prevention Fund - IGA jointly with Bulgarian Helsinki Committee, Program “Accession to information” and other nongovernmental organizations. The study was presented by: Dimitar Rusinov - Program Director of Fund - IGA; Tihomir Bezlov - expert; Kiril Terziiski - Program “Accession to information” and Stanimir Petrov - Bulgarian Helsinki Committee.
Participation in the event took the deputy Minister of Justice Dimitar Bongalov, the deputy Minister of the Interior Rumen Andreev, representatives of the Supreme judicial council, Ministry of Justice, the Prosecution, the Court, the Probation services, The National institute of justice, nongovernmental organizations, working in this field and media. The study and its presentation were implemented with the financial support of the Dutch Embassy - MATRA KAP Program.
