“Public-private Partnership in the Process of Social Inclusion of Vulnerable groups”

Main aim: of the action is to establish environment that promotes public-private dialogue and fosters public-private partnerships in the field of social protection and social inclusion of vulnerable groups in the South Central region.
Specific aims:
- Developing the institutional and operational capacity of NGOs/ institutions/ business entities from the South Central planning region for enhancing public-private dialogue and building public-private partnerships, formulation of local and regional policies in the field of social inclusion.
- Implementing of a regional model of partnership between state, business, local authorities and non-governmental sector in the field social inclusion of vulnerable groups.
- Widely popular the European standards for public-private partnerships in the process of tackling social exclusion. Expected results:
- Increased capacity of the third sector to facilitate and participate in public-private partnerships in the social inclusion sphere
- Improved situation of vulnerable groups (offenders, Roma, children at risk) by improving the capacity of different stakeholders to form public-private partnerships
- Raised awareness among local authorities, NGOs and the business about the public-private partnership
Expected results:

Discussed ideas for future projects on a closing meeting

 

404In the frames of activity “PPP project developments” on project “Public-private partnerships in the process of social inclusion of vulnerable groups”, 20 trained on the project representatives of nongovernmental organizations, social workers, psychologists, the project partners and experts-consultants discussed the ideas of the two projects that will be prepared. The achieved during the trainings practical skills for developing and managing of projects, the opportunities and the benefits from the establishment of public-private partnerships as well as the future project activities after the end of the project were discussed. The project ideas, the strategies for their development and also the time frame concerning the preparation of the projects were clarified. The completed projects will be applied for funding aiming the Program “Administrational capacity”.
Instead of them two meetings in Pazardjik and Plovdid in accordance with the project, following the recommendations given by the participants for carrying out of one big meeting with its main aim the implementation of a practical task - preparation of two project proposals in the sphere of the social inclusion of vulnerable groups.

 

Four-module training on public-private partnerships ended

 

399In the end of the last week the fourth module on the training within the project “Public-private partnerships in the process of social inclusion of vulnerable groups” has finished. The project is implemented from Training and Services Center at Fund - IGA with the financial support of PHARE Program at the European Commission.
The theme of the last module concerned concretely the public-private partnerships: characteristics and relevant field, groups of interests at PPP, analysis of the expenses and the benefits from this kind partnerships, risk assessment at PPP, grant schemes for financing, public procurements and tender procedures, types concessions.
Besides module “Public-private partnerships”, the participants also passed two-days trainings on the modules: European Union; Structural Funds; Project cycle management.
19 people, representatives of institutions, nongovernmental organizations and the business from 6 Municipalities who passed the whole four-module course of training will receive certificates.

 The operational programs – matter of seminar discussion on project for public-private partnership

 

377The second from them four trainings on project “Public-private partnership in the process of social inclusion of vulnerable groups” began today in the new hall of the Agency for regional economical development and business incubator within the building of the Scientific Technical Union in Pazardjik. The financial instruments of EU for 2007 - 2013 and the priorities of the Structure funds will be introduced in two days period. They will also be acquainted regarding the link between the purposes of the EU and the national strategic and operational documents and also with the logic of the operational programs. The seven operational programs (OP) will be introduced and them two National plans – goals, activities, beneficiaries, management. In this particular module the participants are going to be able to brief themselves with the OP “Development of human resources”, OP “Administrative capacity” and OP “Regional development”. The lecturer from the New Bulgarian University will pay attention also on the National program for development of the village region of Bulgaria. In the end of the training the participants will develop a practical task, which will accent on the specifications of the regional project.
17th of May was the date that the first module was carried out in which participated 15 persons from 5 municipalities within the Pazardjik District – representatives of Municipal administration, District administration, business and the NGO – sector in Pazardjik and Plovdiv. The will proceed with their training in the month of July, when the third module will be elaborated. The project “Public-private partnership in the process of social inclusion of vulnerable groups” is realized from the Training and Services Centre at Fund – IGA and it is financially supported by Phare program at the European Commission.

 

Training seminar for public-private partnerships gathered participants from 5 Municipalities

 

37417 May The first from them four trainings on project “Public-private partnership in the process of social inclusion of vulnerable groups” started today in complex “Vionas” – Pazardjik. The participants in the seminar are from 5 Municipalities of District Pazardjik – representatives of the Municipality administration, District administration, business and NGO – the sector of Pazardjik and Plovdiv – total of fifteen people. From May to July they will participate in four two-day seminars (training modules), which are including: Management of the project cycle and logical framework, History and aims of the European Union, Instruments of the Community and Public-private partnerships. The lecturers on the seminar are from New Bulgarian University. After the trainings the representatives will apply on practice the acquired knowledge and will develop two projects in the sphere of public-private partnerships.
The project is implemented from the Training and services center at Fund – IGA with the financial support of Program PHARE at the European Commission. Project partners are Association “Help for children at risk” – Pazardjik, Coalition “Stolipinovo” – Plovdiv, District administration – Pazardjik and the Regional craft chamber – Pazardjik.

A project encourages the public-private partnership

 

370(24 April) Today in the office of Fund – IGA a work meeting was carried out on project “Public-private partnership in the process of social inclusion of vulnerable groups”, which is been implemented by Training and Service Center at Fund – IGA. Participation in it took representatives of 4 municipalities – Peshtera, Belovo, Septemvri and Batak, representatives of nongovernmental organizations from the Municipalities of Plovdiv, Pazardjik and Lesichovo, representatives of institutions and the business area.
Project “Public-private partnership in the process of social inclusion of vulnerable groups” started in the end of the last year and it is funded on PHARE Program at the European Commission. Project partners are Association “Help for children at risk”, Coalition “Stolipinovo” (Plovdiv), Regional craft chamber – Pazardjik and District administration of Pazardjik. The main aim of the project is to establish environment that will encourage public-private dialogue and fosters public-private partnerships in the field of social protection and social inclusion of vulnerable groups in the South Central region.
For participation in the 4-module training, which will start in May, are selected 15 persons. The 4 modules will be developed in four two-day training seminars: Management of the project cycle and logical framework; History and aims of the EU; Instruments of the Community; Public-private partnership. The training will end during the autumn with practical part – preparing of project for public-private partnership in the sphere of the social inclusion of vulnerable groups. On the work meeting the participants were introduced in details with the themes, included in the training modules and also with the entire project development.

 

Public-private partnerships will work for the social inclusion of vulnerable groups

 

360Training and services center at Fund – IGA has carried out its first work meeting on project “Public-private partnerships in the process of social inclusion of vulnerable groups” together with its partners Association “Help for children at risk” – Patalenits village, Coalition “Stolipinovo” – Plovdiv, District administration – Pazardjik (associated partner) and Regional craft chamber – Pazardjik (as associated partner).
The main aim of the project is the establishment of environment that promotes public-private dialogue and fosters public-private partnerships in the field of social protection and social inclusion of vulnerable groups in the South central region.
The project was presented in the office of Fund – IGA and the criteria for selection of NGO for participation in the training was discussed. The timetable for selection of the participants and the text of the agreement, which will be signed from all participants were also overviewed. From May to the end of August will be carried out four two-day training seminars as for participation in them will be selected 15 persons.
The expected results are: increased capacity of the third sector for facilitation and participation in public-private partnerships, regarding in the filed of social inclusion, improved situation of them vulnerable groups (offenders, roma people, children at risk) by improving the capacity of different stakeholders to form public-private partnerships and raised awareness among local authorities, NGO’s and the business, regarding the public-private partnership.
The project is financed from the Phare Programme of the European Commission.
