Main goal:
Improving (ex) offenders situation on the labor market
Objectives:
Increasing social participation of ex-offenders and increasing the commitment to implementation of programs for social reintegration of ex-offenders.
Results:
- Created national work group for management of the project;
- Visit in The Netherlands by the work group to learn about the model for re-socialization of ex-prisoners;
- Created 3 regional work groups in Pleven, Pazardzhik and Blagoevgrad (with carried out about 60 work meetings);
- Created a team from Bulgarian trainers in two stages – in The Netherlands and in Bulgaria;
- Developed variant of Model for re-integration of ex-prisoners;
- Carried out a press-conference in which was participating Jan van den Brand – general manager of the Dutch prison system and Peter Vasilev – director of General Director “Execution of penalties” in the Ministry Of Justice;
- Create functioning WEB site of the project;
- Created and printed 6 bulletins of the project (in Bulgarian and English)
