Main goal:
To keep the low level of dissemination of HIV/AIDS through commercial sex workers in the Pazardjik region
Objectives:
- Restricting of the risk sexual behavior; - Reducing of the dissemination of sexual and blood illnesses; - Early discovering and directing to medical treatment of the cases with HIV infection; - Development of effective programs for prevention of HIV infection on municipal level; - Development of the professional capacity on municipal level for planning and implementation of sustainable programs for prevention of HIV infection.
Expected results:
- Established contacts with 60-70 % of the commercial sex workers in the Pazardjik region; - 50 % increasing of the number of the commercial sex workers who define correct the ways for prevention of HIV infection for sexual way; - 80% increasing of the number of the commercial sex workers who said that they have used a condom during their last sexual contact; - 50 % of the commercial sex workers are tested for HIV infection and sexual illnesses; - Disseminated informational and training materials;
