Fund IGA does strategic planning until 2013

The series of work meetings of the team of Crime Prevention Fund – IGA related with the preparation of strategy plan of the organization for the period 2007 – 2013 has started. On 16th and 17th of September in Koprivshtitsa with the support of an expert on strategy planning the consultations with the whole IGA team started. The stages in the development of the strategy plan were outlined as the achievements of the organization from its founding till now and the implementing of the previous plan were retraced.
Hottest debate provoked the preparation of SWOT analysis, which included analysis of the exterior and interior environment. The result from the work meeting will lie in the foundations of the strategy document, which will define the development of the organization for the next 7 years. In the next work meetings, which will continue almost until the end of the year, besides on strategy planning, the team will be consulted also on NGO management.
The development of Strategy plan 2007 – 2013, planning of long-term strategy and optimization of the internal environment of work organization of IGA with a view to increased capacity and the widen partnerships on national and international level, is the main aim of the project, in the frames of which will be carried out total of 9 work meetings. It is being implemented thanks to support of “Workshop for Civic Initiatives” Foundation within program “Effectiveness and efficiency for change”, funded by Trust for development of the civil society in Central and Eastern Europe and “Charles Stewart Mott” Foundation.
