Abstract:

   Donor: “Prevention and control of HIV/AIDS” programme applied by the Ministry of Health (MH) with financial support of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria.

   Timeframe: April 2011-December 2012;

   Leading organization: Crime Prevention Fund-IGA;

   Overview:

   The project aims at improving access to prevention and treatment of TB for “juveniles at high risk” group. To achieve this are applied variety of methods - from disseminating information to tracking the sick and their families. Among the target group surveys are conducted by the field assistant which goal is to detect the disease. If the risk of TB is found present, a type “Mantu” test is applied on the field by the medical officer.

   An important role for project’s success plays the good communication between the institutions involved with the problem.
